  • Station Managers/Regional Supervisors assign tasks to technicians via FumiApp (VFC’s internal application used for management, monitoring, and progress tracking).
  • Technical staff conduct on-site surveys, including goods, packaging, insects, shipment condition, port of destination, and chemical selection.
  • Each type of container fumigation requires different treatment plans; please contact us for consultation on the most suitable solution.
  • After the survey, technicians update information on FumiApp and discuss treatment options with Station Managers or Technical Department leadership.
Step 3: Preparation of materials, equipment & manpower

Prepare materials, equipment, and personnel in accordance with the container fumigation structure and/or the standards applicable to the shipment.

Step 4: Fumigation execution as scheduled by customer

Customers notify their schedule and cargo readiness time; VFC staff will arrive on time to perform the fumigation.

Step 5: Inspection, handover & certificate issuance (if required)

  • After completion, both VFC and customer representatives conduct inspection.
  • VFC hands over the shipment/container and issues fumigation certificate upon request.
