VFC and VINASEED held a seminar on “Insect identification and pest control consultation”

On October 8, 2022, in Ha Nam, Vietnam Seed Group Joint Stock Company (Vinaseed) and Vietnam Fumigation Joint Stock Company (VFC) organized a seminar on “Insect Identification and Pest Control for Stored Agricultural Products.”

Representing Vinaseed at the seminar were Mr. Duong Quang Sau – deputy chief executive officer of Vinaseed; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duc – quality management director, together with 35 members from the board of management, quality management department, warehouse supervisors of the factories, and six online meeting points from member companies.

Representing VFC were Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tu – head of fumigation technical operations department, Mr. Ngo Trong Duc – sales executive of the northern branch, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh and Mr. Pham Van Thin – fumigation operation officers.

During the seminar, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tu (H.N. Tu), representing the technical team, shared information about common warehouse insect species, including their characteristics, life cycles, and several pest control measures for stored agricultural commodities. The seminar became highly interactive as members from both companies discussed their ongoing work, while Vinaseed participants raised difficulties related to warehouse pest management. With extensive experience, the VFC technical team provided practical solutions and clarified unresolved issues.
