With the aim of bringing practical experience and positive values from enterprises to students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), on the afternoon of october 8, 2022, at the university’s main auditorium, faculty members coordinated with Vietnam Fumigation Joint Stock Company (VFC) and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture to organize a specialized seminar on “Clean Agricultural Supply – Agricultural Market Fairs and Import-Export Cargo and Vessel Fumigation” for more than 1,200 students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The seminar took place in a lively atmosphere with the participation of Ms. Tran Huynh Giang Thanh, specialist from the Agricultural Consulting and Support Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, who discussed topics related to clean food supply and demand. Mr. Ho Duy Hung, technical supervisor at VFC, also provided students with knowledge about cargo fumigation, vessel fumigation, and fumigation regulations in international sales contracts.

Attending the seminar in large numbers, students were given detailed insights into job characteristics, technical requirements, and related industry information from VFC and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture. They also received direct and dedicated answers from specialists regarding related topics.

After the seminar concluded, university representatives shared that they highly value every opportunity to cooperate with enterprises in activities related to internships, employment opportunities, soft skills training, and professional skill development for students. Strong cooperation in the present will serve as a foundation for broader multidimensional collaboration in the future, helping strengthen the comprehensive connection between enterprises, universities, and students.
