Northeast Vietnam was selected by VFC as the destination for its 2019 team-building program, which lasted 5 days and 4 nights. The event was organized to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Fumigation – PCO Division, which successfully met its revenue and profit targets two years ahead of schedule under VFC’s five-year strategic plan. It also aimed to strengthen connections and foster greater unity among VFC branches across the country.

In the early days of march, while Hanoi’s weather was still slightly chilly, 50 outstanding representatives from VFC branches across the country, from the north to Phu Quoc, gathered together to begin their journey to the northernmost region of Vietnam. Late-blooming peach and plum blossoms, villages hidden in the morning mist, and children whose lives were still difficult yet whose faces shone with innocent smiles deeply touched the hearts of all team members. Through the journey, everyone realized once again how beautiful Vietnam truly is.

During the campfire night in Dong Van town, beside a traditional stilt house, after the heartfelt appreciation speech from Mr. Nguyen Bao Son, deputy general director, acknowledging the efforts of all VFC members, all distances in geography, region, and age seemed to disappear. Everyone stood side by side, singing together and sharing the difficulties they had experienced throughout the past year. In the end, all participants were immersed in the enchanting sounds of traditional ethnic flutes echoing through the dark mountain forest night.

In particular, having the opportunity to “check in” at Lung Cu Flag Tower on Dragon Mountain, the northernmost point of Vietnam, brought great excitement to the entire group. After climbing 839 steps, magnificent mountain ranges and iconic terraced fields unfolded before everyone’s eyes. Breathing in the fresh mountain air, all fatigue from the journey seemed to disappear, leaving only unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime moments.

All dangerous and winding mountain passes such as Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s “four greatest mountain passes”, and Me Pja Pass with its 14 winding levels, were successfully conquered on the journey to Ban Gioc Waterfall, Pac Bo Cave, and Dong Van Karst Plateau. These challenging roads symbolically reflected the path that the VFC family would continue to overcome together in order to achieve greater success in the future.
